The strategic partnership agreement was signed by the Komita Group of Companies and the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin at the SPGF-2019

Within the framework of the St Petersburg International Gas Forum, which was held from 1 ?4 October, Vyacheslav Kramarenko, General Director of the Komita Group of Companies, and Rector of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas (NRU) named after I.M. Gubkin, Victor Martynov announced the start of long-term cooperation.

The relevant agreement includes, among other things, promising work in three areas.

For the first time GC “Komita” is implementing a training simulator complex that simulates various modes of operation of a compressor station with electric GPU. The installation will be based on ELNA’s production automation systems: self-propelled guns, automatic control systems, automated control systems, automatic control systems, automatic control systems, automatic control systems and automatic control systems, automatic control systems. All systems are built on the domestic controller of the ELPK series of the development of the innovative company ELNA, which meets all the requirements of state and industry standards, and the SCADA system—»MasterSCADA» of the INSAT company.

A simulator will allow students to conduct laboratory workshops, and start, normal and emergency stop compressor stations. Thus, modern digital solutions will make the university’s profile programmes more competitive and graduates in demand on the world market.

The experts of the Comita Group of Companies and the RSU will conduct joint research and development work in accordance with the commercial needs of the industry. Within the framework of cooperation, it is planned to update scientific and educational laboratories with the installation of automation systems and software products, the development of full-time and distance digital courses. Also, for higher education programmes and professional training and retraining programmes for oil and gas industry specialists, Komita Group specialists will organise lectures and courses on industry innovations. Experts are ready to share knowledge and experience in automation, informatisation, digitalisation and robotisation of production.

University students will be able to do internships at the production facilities of the Comita Group of Companies. In addition, it is planned to implement a continuing education programme for faculty members at the facilities.

For the fourth time the Comita Group of Companies became an exhibitor at the St Petersburg International Gas Forum, which was held at the EXPOFORUM venue in the northern capital. Innovative solutions in the field of industrial automation, digitalisation of production, and telecommunications in the oil and gas industry were presented at the company stand.
