The President of the Group of Companies “Comita” Danilo Durakovich and the Head of Comita Group of Companies for Russia and the SNG/CIS/ Nebojsa Jankovic participated in the annual 20th General Meeting of the International Business Congress, which was held on May 25-26, 2017 in Vienna (Austria). The XXXVI meeting of the Presidium of the MDC, the conference “Natural gas as the target fuel of the future” and the meetings of the working committees of the MDC were held within the framework of the Meeting.
During the General Assembly the new head of the Committee “Ecology and healthcare” was elected – Head of Comita Group of Companies, for Russia and the CIS, Nebojsa Jankovic.
“First of all I want to thank the members of the MDC for the honor given to lead the committee ‘Ecology and Health’. The problems, on which the Committee works on, are close to each person, since they determine the fundamental principles of the life quality. I undertake to give priority to the development of the activities of the Committee and I hope to justify the confidence of MDC members," said N. Jankovic

The Meeting participants got acquainted with the results of the work of the MDC for 2016. In particular, the annual report for the 2016 financial year was approved, and the activities of the Presidium and the Board of the Congress for this period were approved. In addition, the reports of chairmen of working committees were heard. As an auditor of the MDC for 2017, PricewaterhouseCoopers Berlin was determined.
During the meeting, the issue of election of the Board and the Presidium of the MDC was also considered. D. Durakovich and N. Jankovic were re-elected to the Presidium of the MDK.
It was adopted a resolution that the next General Meeting of the Congress will be held in 2018 in India.
Within the framework of the meeting on May the 26th, 2017 a joint meeting of the committees “Ecology and Health Care” and “Industry, Innovations and Prospective Development” took place on the theme “Innovative Technologies in the Field of Environmental Protection”.
International Business Congress (until May 2015 – European Business Congress) – an international non-governmental non-profit organization, founded in December 1997 in Bonn (Germany). The purpose for the creation of the MDC: the promotion of economic cooperation and the provision of conditions for dialogue between the political circles and private business in member countries.
